Driving to the store, I noticed once I hit over 40 MPH my SUV shut off and couldn't get it started again, so I towed it home. I checked fuel pump, module, relay, battery all working great until I found fuse# 12 blown, so I replaced the fuse and ran again but just pass 40 MPH it shut off again, checked fuse#12 and again it blew. So, I just replaced it again just to get home and since been parked. Any help?

The vehicle listed above is an XLT model.

Fuse #12 goes to the fuel pump relay which I would change out first, the fuel pump relay is located in the Central Junction Box (CJB) and is Not Serviceable so you will need to change out the CJB.

If that doesn't fix it the fuel pump module is having a problem or you have a shorted wire to the fuel pump. Please inspect the wiring harness headed to the fuel tank. Here is the location of the fuel pump relay so you can change it out. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
