Fuel system?

The line coming from the gas tank goes up the side of the fender. What is the valve the line hooks up too. It runs like it has a burnt valve and blows white smoke. It pushes too much gas into the intake.

Hi,

I attached a pic below. I circled the fuel pulse damper. Is that the component you are referring to?

Next, if you are getting a lot of thick white smoke from the exhaust, that is usually an indication of coolant getting into the combustion chamber and being burned. Commonly, that is caused by a failing head gasket.
