I put a new fuel pressure regulator sensor in my car and now it will try to crank but won't. Can you tell me why?

When you say it "tries to crank" does that mean when you turn the key, it doesn't do anything or the engine is turning over (cranking) but just not starting and running?

I suspect you mean it is cranking but not running. This would be called a crank no start and if this started after the pressure sensor was replaced then I suspect that is faulty.

We need to start with checking the fuel pressure and make sure this is correct because I suspect it is low and causing the issue as the sensor is telling the PCM the wrong info.

Let me know if I am missing something and we can go from there. Thanks
