Fuel pressure regulator

I am getting a code po172, running rich. I smell the fuel when starting. Open loop, checked fuel pressure and it is loosing pressure at a few pounds per minute. I am thinking that it is the fuel pressure regulator, but can not find it. Help.

Good afternoon.

The pressure regulator is part of the fuel pump assembly.

What is the actual fuel pressure?

Also, check your air filter and also, a bad purge valve for the evap system will cause this rich condition.

Does it have any codes set?
