I have the truck listed above and I recently changed out my fuel filter for it, and now I’m having a leak where the connection is on the filter and it’s the line that comes from the filter to the engine.

Hi,

Does it still have the push connectors on both sides of the filter? If so, you will need to disconnect the side that is leaking and check of there is an issue with the o-ring or something is damaged. That is a compression fitting, but I believe there is an o-ring in it to prevent leaks. Check and make sure it wasn't cut or damaged.

Here are the directions from Alldata for install. They are extremely vague, but let me know if you have questions.

INSTALLATION

1. Install filter in bracket, ensuring proper direction of flow as noted by arrow. Tighten see SPECIFICATIONS.
2. Install push connect fittings at both ends of filter.
3. Lower vehicle.
4. Start engine and check for leaks.

If you look at the attached pic, let me know if that is the type of connector you are dealing with. Because of the year, something may have been changed. If you can take a pic of it and upload it for me to see, it may help as well.

Let me know.
Joe
