i'm getting ready to put my third set of injectors in this year. I took it to a shop the first time and he put them in and about 3 months later the truck started having no power again. I took it back to the shop and he told me that 3 of the injectors had failed. He replaced all 6 of them at no charge. Now about 6 or 7 months later it has no power again. I was riding my Harley the last 6 or so months and didn't drive the truck much.
What could be causing these injectors to fail?

Hi,

Has the fuel filter ever been changed? The idea that the injectors are failing could be due to dirt. Do you know if they are failing due to an electrical issue? Does the check engine light stay on while the engine is running?

Let me know that. Also, if you feel comfortable, I would like you to scan the computer for diagnostic codes. This truck has an OBD1 system and doesn't require a scan tool to retrieve codes. Follow the directions in this link and let me know what you find:

Let me know.
