Does not start

I changed fuel pump and still will not start. it starts if I spray started fluid in it but will not stay running.

Hi,

Based on the symptoms, it certainly is a fuel-related issue. Now, have you checked fuel pressure since the new pump was installed to confirm it is working? If not, that is where we need to start.

If you find the fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specifications, then we need to check for a fuel injector pulse.

Let me know what you find. Also, let me know how this problem came to be. Did the engine just stall? Was anything other than the fuel pump worked on?
