it shimmy's at about sixty mph and when i hit the brakes. Also, low acceleration.

This can be caused by a warped brake rotor, but given the multiple symptoms, a better suspect is a brake caliper that is not releasing. Stop on a slight incline, shift to "neutral", release the brakes, then see if the car creeps downhill on its own. If it does not, we'll need to open the hydraulic system at a few places to figure out what is causing the caliper to not release.
