One of the pins on each side is longer than the other, where do they go and does it make a difference?

Can you get a picture of the pins that you are seeing? I show that the pins are the same length. I included an exploded view also and they appear to be the same length as well.
If they are not, the longer one should only fit in one of the bracket holes. If you can get some pictures of this, that would help. Thanks

Understood. The caliper bracket will have different sized chambers that reflect the different size pins. If you look at the picture you will see this is for a 2006/2007 Mazda 6. It appears the top is the longer of the two.
Plus if you get it backwards, the caliper will not mount correctly on the rotor. However, just compare them to the bracket and you will be fine. Thanks

Yes, I can see that. But since the same bracket can go on the right or left side. That means on left side longer pin goes on top on right side it would go on bottom correct? Left side being drivers side.

To kasekenny1. After looking at the image you sent. I checked the brakes again and found. The right side was okay but I had to switch the left side. After another road test everything seems to be okay. Thank you so much for your help. I think it was the photo that did the trick.
