What should my A/C high and low side be on the truck listed above 1500? Can you provide me with the capacity chart, in case I need to ad Freon? Thanks

Good afternoon,

First, you cannot tell Freon level by pressures.

The high side should be 2 times ambient temperature plus 15%.

The low side should be 25-30 pounds rock solid.

I attached the specs for you below.

What is the issue?

So how do I know if it needs Freon? The issue is the A/C is blowing cold, but not as cold as it use to it feels like so I think it may need Freon. I have never added Freon before so I wanted to make sure I know how to do it properly if it is low on Freon so as to not over charge the system. Thanks

The only way is to recover the Freon and see how much was recovered.

Then you need to evacuate the system for 1 hour and charge the exact amount.

You cannot tell Freon level by pressures.
