I have an '04 Dodge 2500 4x4 SLT with Cummins, single climate control HVAC. I noticed that both heat and cooling are significantly better coming out of the driver's side vents than on the vents for passenger's side. This is true for both dash vents and for floor vents. The air flow out of the vents seems equal, just the amount of heat/AC is disporportional. What do you think?

Hmmm do you mean the air volume is equal but the actual temps arent as extreme? P/S never gets as hot or as cold? That may be due to location of heater core-A/C evaporator core to where the vents are. It doesnt make much sense if the volume is equal and it is a single climate control system.

I taped some tissue paper on popsicle sticks and secured them in front of Drivers and passengers vents to check flow. I would say that the flow out of passenger side is reduced approximately 25% less than drivers side but not overly restricted. Does that help with diagnosing?

That explains the temp differences. Now it is just amatter of looking around under thedash to determine why they are blowing different. This may require some minor disassembly of the duct system under the dash to se if it has a leak/restriction (piece of paper. Etc) somewhere that is causing this. Have you changed the cabin filter yet?If it is restrictive it can cause irregularities like this. Did this happen all at once or gradually over time?
