Ford Windstar Coolant Loss and Overheating

MY HEATER STOPPED WORKING, NOW I'M LOSING COOLANT, I DON'T SEE ANY LEAKS IT'S AS THOUGH IT'S VANISHING. I REFILLED THE RADIATOR AND START TO DRIVE A SHORT DISTANCE WHEN THE TEMPERATURE LIGHT COMES ON THAT THE ENGINE IS RUNNING HOT . MY MECHANIC REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT, BUT DID NOT DETECT ANY LEAKS... ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!

Check the oil for coolant. Will look like a chocolate milkshake on the dip stick and filler cap. Could be a waterpump. They are tuff leaks to find at first.
