2003 Ford Windstar V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 39000 miles

My Windstar has noise that increases as I speed up but which sounds like a wheel bearing. When turn hard right the noise increases hard left has no effect so I feel it's the wheel hub bearing assembly which I feel is premature for 39K miles vehicle. I plan on doing the work myself but when I reviewed the shop manual it states to replace the axle shaft nut as well as the 3 bolts that retain the hub assembly and the ball joint nut and tie rod serated nut. I understand why I would change the axle nut but are the other hardware parts really necessary or can I reuse them and just use new cotter pins? I plan on approaching the dealer first to see if they would do the work on a goodwill warranty.

Good luck on the goodwill thing. If they are castle nuts with cotter pins, yes they are reusable, most are locknuts, with plastec inserts, not reusable.
