A lot of times a belt that is older will squeal when it gets wet. Try the simplest thing first. Replace the belt with a new one, and clean all the pulleys and wheels. When you do another wash, take the belt out, and let the pulleys and wheels thoroughly dry before you put it back in. Often a belt will get a "glaze" on it, and it will constantly squeal.
