You need to go back to walmart and have them make this right. Either they took a shortcut and didn't use an alternative power supply to maintain the pcm memory.
Normal driving should allievate the idle/stalling.
When the memory is lost, some modules need reprogramming and some will adapt as it is driven.
This may need to be reprogrammed with a capable scanner.
Typically the low-skilled places such as walmart, quickie-lube type places will have a local skilled shop they do business with to fix their mistakes when they can't.
I would press them to make it right. Go directly to the manager.
