2000 Ford Windstar battery keeps dying

2000 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi I have a 2000 ford windstar, the battery goes dead every once in a while, i could go for a couple of day to a few weeks before is dies, the battery is not even 6 months old, i have replace the altenator, and clean the battery cables and the ground, still the same thing.

Could be the computer controlled of the alternator that's malfunctioning
