Interior problem
1998 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The passenger side door latch will not close when the door is shut. I can move the latch backward with my finger when the door is open so I know it doesn't need oil or anything. I removed the door panel to see if I could find a way to access the latch system, but I can't get to it.
If you could give a few pointers I would appreciate that.
