1998 Ford Windstar how do you change the battery

1998 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Automatic

my dad and i got a new battery and we cant get it under the battery holder in the front we tried to remove it or just pull it up enough that we could get the battery under but it wont budge. help

it could be corroded to the tray. try hitting on it with a hammer lightly and see if you can break it loose.
