1995 Ford Windstar ignition chime/warning bell

The van has an electric drain per a scan from a local parts store. The key left in the ignition warning chim will continue to go off after the keys are removed unless you wiggle the ignition switch just right when removing the keys. could the short becoming from the ignition switch?
