My car died the other day going to work it barely had power because my lights were very dim even when I had my brights on it was like driving with my parking lights on and it cut off and when I tryed to start it the solenoid started smoking and it kept making a clicking noise like it wanted to start but it wouldnt do anything

Hi there,

You will need to get the battery charged & load tested as this is the only way to prove a battery one way or the other, also you will need to have the alternator tested for charge rate, as this is what re charges the battery.
