Rear springs replaced now brakes not functioning properly

I have a 1996 FORD TAURUS 4DR SEDAN.
I recently had the rear springs replaced (broken).
After this repair I can no longer back up my car without hearing an extreme grinding noise.
My guess is the Mechanic forgot to do something when putting everything back together or did something wrong during the repair.
I also had $600.00 worth of break work all the way around 4 months prior to this Spring work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To reply to your question: where did I have my brakes done, my original question has nothing to do with that.

I had new rotors and pads, new drums and shoes, all new hardware front and back, 2 wheel cylinders, 2 new brake lines, and the block in the back for the brake lines connection replaced, 5 months ago.

My question was why are my rear brakes squeling and extremely grinding right after I had rear coil springs replaced and the mounts also.

What is causing my problem.
I cannot even back up the car now afraid something serious will happen.

I am brining the car back for them to correct the problem but thought I might get an answer here first!
