Couple of wiper problems

Ok I have a 92 Taurus with about 196000 miles. The wipers are messed up- they work fine in low or high position but do not work at all in intermitittent. They stop in the up position and they do not wash the windshield. When I push the button on nothing happens. I think I need a new motor- just want to make sure before I spend the money.

Motor it is indeed just did one 2day
But I will add check the windshield washer pump also
U may need a new one or the wires had pulled out or check the supply hose it may be cut
