I've taken my car to two different Auto Shops and have had two different results. The first shop said that I have a suspect leak in the head gasket or the intake manifold. They say that they need to take it apart and that it will take 15 hours of labor and cot $1,000.
The other shop did a pressure check, could not find a leak and says that it is normal for a small amount of anti freeze to leak. Especially in ford tauruses with as much mileage as I have.
My quetion is what is your opinion on the subject?

More tests needed

a dye test should be next

if pressure test didn’t reveal the leak ,Dye test should be next
1st shop was not positive of the reason and the second shop statement not true
