How did you determine that it is flooding out? Is there a raw fuel smell at the tailpipe? Have you removed a spark plug and found it to be soaked with gas?
If any of these conditions are present, and the engine is indeed flooding out, the most likely reason is from unmetered fuel entering the combustion chambers. This would point to a ruptures diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator. This is located on the fuel rail, and will have a vacuum liine going to it. You can check to see if it is ruptures or leaking by taking off the vacuum line and checking for the presence of fuel. If fuel is present, it means that you need to replace the fuel pressure regulator.
