2002 Ford Taurus cutting out

My taurus is cutting out at 3500 to 4000 rpm on a consistance basis. Seems to be when it is warm and not cold. I have changed the plugs and fuel filter

Is it doing it when the car in park or neutral
and if so that is normal and nothing should be done
if its when driving at the free way with load
check fuel pressure and fuel pump
