We removed the spindles and disconnected the ABS sensors while replacing the front ball joints / tie rods (turned the ignition on to move the steering wheel for better access) and the ABS light is on. How do we clear the code? The local Advanced / Auto Zone / Pep Boys are unable to clear the code and I’ll try disconnecting the battery for a bit tonight. Short of a $115 charge from the dealer for the privilege of clearing it, any other suggestions? Disconnecting the bulb doesn’t count :o)

If no ABS light before the work on the ball joints ,suspect that you had damaged the sensor at that side. It sounds like you may have a wheel speed sensor that is out. These videos will help us find the problem.
