My car has been making a noise - what I would say is a low roar. I had my mechanic change the fan but it is still making that noise. What might it be? One article I read said it could be the fan clutch.

Your car doesnt have a fan clutch, so we can rule that out. When does it make the noise? Did your mechanic offer any opinion as to the source or did you just have him change the fan?

Thank you.
The noise was determind to be coming from the fan and its encasement so we replaced it, thinking that would correct the nosie but it has not. It now soundsd louder than before. The noise seems to get louder afer the car has been running for a while and during acceleration.

Mybe check the radiator mounts to be sure the fan isnt rubbing anything or the radiator isnt moving around causing the noise. It should be on rubber mounts
