There are many things that can cause a stall/no start condition.
Start with the basics. The engine needs 3 things to run:
1) Fuel/air mixture
2) Spark
3) compression
You can start by checking these items as follows:
For fuel, there is a test port on the fuel rail on the top of the engine. This port looks like the end of a tire valve stem, with a black or gray plastic cap on it. This is the attachment point for a fuel pressure gauge. Normal fuel pressure should read around 40-50psi when the ignition switch is turned on.
For spark, you can get a very inexpensive spark tester. Remove one spark plug wire and attach it to the spark tester. Attach the other end of the tester to any grounded metal on the engine. Cranking the engine should produce a nice blue spark.
For compression, simply listening is usually sufficient. Does the engine sound normally while cranking? Or does it sound loose and free? If it sounds normal, likely the compression is OK.
Start with these simple tests. This will start you on the path to diagnosis and repair.
