The door ajar symbol comes on for our passenger door and stays on when the door is closed causing the interior lights to stay on even though the door is fully closed. I assume the relay is stuck or not functioning properly. How do I replace or check to make sure this is the problem. It only is a problem with passenger door all others are fine.

THE SWITCH FOR THE LIGHT IS IN THE DOOR CATCH THAT KEEPS THE DOOR CLOSED. YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE DOOR PANEL OFF TO GET TO IT. YOU CAN JUST UNPLUG IT OR REPLACE IT WHILE YOU GOT THE PANEL OFF. MAKE SURE IT IS THE PASSENGER DOOR IS THE PROBLEM THOUGH. TO CHECK IF IT IS THE DRIVERS DOOR START THE CAR AND CLOSE THE DOOR. IF THE CHIME THAT TELLS YOU THE KEY IS STILL IN THE INITION DINGS IT IS THE DRIVERS DOOR. GOOD LUCK!!
