Transmission problem
1996 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My 96 taurus gave me a problem the other day, I had been driving, came to a stop, then went to take off, and it wouldn't go, I put in reverse, and it would just creep, but all forward gears wouldn't do anything. I shut the car off and restarted it, and it was fine after that. I checked the fluid when I got home, it didn't look burnt, it was a little low but not much. Haven't driving it since. Any thoughts?

It sounds like it could be a problem with the trans control module, torque converter, or front pump. At this point, these aren't things you can check and it needs to be looked at by a trans tech.
