Ok yes it could be a fuel pump. However I would call around and find a local parts store that does free scans and have them scan it get the code (write it down) and then have them clear the codes. Get back to me with the codes and lets see what the car tells us.
I would also check the fuel pressure and look at the fuel filter and see if it looks old. If so you could replace it. This may not be your fix but if it is old it needs to be replaced anyway and if the fuel pump is bad then you should replace it as well. Get back to me with the codes and we can take it from there.
