Transmission problem
1996 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
I am looking for the location of the upper transmission gaskets.

I'm not sure what ya call it LOL. I just wanted to know how much work it was to replace it. Thank you very much for the info.

You have tranny oil pan gasket
and filter
if so
its a messy job but an easy to do

Already replaced that gasket and the filter. There are two other gaskets on the transmission that need replacing I guess. I was wondering where they were located and if you need to pull the whole engine to replace them.

THE ONE ON THE SIDE?
Would be difficult to do
and have to drop the sub frame to remove it

So we're better off selling it for parts then LOL. Never had any luck with Ford. Thanks for the help.
