Alright lets see I have a 1993 ford taurus sho mtx, 3.0L dohc. I have been having problems keeping the car running I brought it to the ford dealer to get my codes ran, they told me that it was my ccrm(constant control relay module), and my camshaft position sensor, I replaced both of these, the car ran great for about a week then out of no where the car wouldnt start. So I checked to see if I had spark (wild guess) sure enough it was orange spark so I replace my plugs and wires same thing orange spark still. So I replaced my ignition coil and BAM! Car started right up drove it for about another week, then all of a sudden it quit running agian, I jumped it using my wifes car and it started it ran for 5 min and quit battery died wouldnt start back up, finnally I just replaced today my alternator and the battery and still nothing it just cranks but doesnt start, I am pulling my hair out with this car does anybody have any solutions plz help

Do you have spark now? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Ok so I went out this morning to check on the car and to my suprise it started right up hmm I think it was just flooded. Ok it runs hot it has always ran pretty warm but now its hot, I was at an idle and the temp was getting alittle to high so I turned on my heat(i hit the defrost button) then my car died felt like it was really hard on the engine same thing happens when I turn on my a/c, whats going on?

When you turn the defroster on, the AC compressor is also turned on (just like the AC) to help dehumidify the air. Thus it cleans the windshield faster.

Ok I get how the compressor works but is it bad. I'm stumped on why it would make my car stall out. What would happen if I unplugged the electrical connector

If it runs with the AC / DEF off, then if you disconnect the wire to the AC clutch, it shouldn't kill the engine. However, this will have an affect on how well the defroster works. It will take longer to defrost the windshield.

Try it and let me know how it goes.

I hate to say it but for me to explaine how to remove it via the internet allows too much room for error. I would be concerned to miss something not being there. Therefore, I recommend getting a good repair manual that provides step by step instructions with pictures to help identify parts.

Honestly, I use Mitchel on line. It is specific if you look for the details. If you go to "repair manuals" under the site menu, they offer it for a fee. However, it is cheaper than getting another manual.

Let me know if it helps.
