Was driving in a strait line going 25mph heard a loud pop and steering went out locked my wheel to the right and wheels to the left. When the vehicle is on jacks the steering is fine but on the ground it does not work.

Check the serpentine belt, it may have broke, if not remove the belt and see if the power steering pump shaft broke, see if it pulls straight out, or if you can turn it by hand.
