I recently purchased a 1996 Ranger with 104,000 miles, V6 3.0 Liter. The headlights do not work but the brights are functioning, as well as the yellow side lights. I changed the fuses in the cab and under the hood, and replaced the bulbs but still no luck. Any suggestions on what to try next?

Jenny, I think you might have a bad dimmer switch, that is the lever on your steering wheel that you use to go from high/low beam. Im not to sure about your year of ranger but you may have to replace the intire turn signal switch. You will have to remove your steering wheel to get to it. If you have a airbag, you MUST disable it before any work.
