I can't get the oil filter off to change the oil in my Ranger. Is there some trick or did the last guy put it on too tight?

nothing special about it, must have been installed too tight or pressure could have just sucked it tight. drive a screwdriver through sides of it and use screwdriver as torque to remove it, it's messy but gets the job done of a stuck oil filter.
