I noticed a squeaking/squealing noise coming from the pulley on the a/c compressor. The reason i say it from the a/c compressor is because i spray the pulley with WD-40 and the noise stops but if i turn my engine off and let it sit for a while, the noise starts up again when i crank the engine and drive the truck. What do i need to replace? The belt doesn't look worn at all.

When you spray WD 40 on a belt, it will stop the noise for a short time. Also, regardless of where you spray it, it makes it around to all of the pullies. Therefore, I have a couple questions. First, the belt may look good, but does it appear dry or glazed? Next, is there enough tension on it to prevent it from slipping?

The belt does look somewhat glazed. There's not an excessive amount of give on the belt tension. How do u loosen the tension on the belt to remove it?
