2003 Ford Ranger Edge noise when accelerating

I have this noise that sounds like a jet taking off when I accelerate and it whines the whole time the truck is in motion. Then it slows down when I slow down and stops when I stop.I tried to shut off the engine to see if it still did it and it did. So anyone have any ideas.

Check the exhaust for blockages.

I took the exhaust off. So that cant be it. Any more ideas.
