My problem might be a simple one, but I can't seem to get to my headlights without disconnecting the battery and air filter. Reason I don't want to disconnect battery is because I don't want to have to take my ranger back to the dealer to reset the anti theft device. So how can I get to my headlight bulbs without to much difficulty. Oh and it's cold out here and my arthritis is acting up but I still need to replace my bulbs as soon as possible without the assist of a mechanic. Please assistance needed and funds are very low and hopefully you knowledge can help me.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Here is the information you requested. Here is a tutorial showing how to change a headlight bulb:

I've attached picture steps below on how to change the headlamp bulb on your truck. Be sure to not touch the glass with your fingers as that the oil from fingers will cause the bulb to break. I've also attached a picture of the Ford headlamp bulb part number that is recommended. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

I'm trying to replace the grille, but in attempting grille renoval, it looks like fhe headlights need to come out in order to gain access to 4 of the bottom retaining clips. I haven"t figured out how to remove the headlights. Need instructions. Please.

Hi,

Removal of the headlamp assembly isn't too difficult. However, be careful when working with mounts and the assembly itself. It is plastic and not hard to break.

If you look at the directions below, they provide the directions for the removal and replacement of the headlamp assembly.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
