Headlight switch

I have a 1998 Ford ranger and the headligt switch lights up I would like to know why it is not lighting up anymore and is it a fuse switch etc tanks :?

Try looking behind the dashboard from underneath to see if you can access the bulb. If not, you may have to take the dashboard apart to get at it and replace it.

Do i just have to pull the bottom panel off or the whole dashboard?

You have to remove the instrument panel to get at the headlight switch. I not sure if the switch has to be changed or if there is a bulb behind it. You'll have to look at it when you take it apart. Private message me with your e-mail address and I can send you an exploded view of how to take it apart.
