Engine Cooling problem
1998 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 180K miles

I replaced my engine, thermostat and radiator in the last year. Every time I drive my truck more than a few miles the coolant in the resevoir starts boiling and if I don't keep refilling it, will boil dry.
I have replaced one new radiator with another new radiator and the mechanic has tried numerous radiator caps.
What could be causing this problem?

You may have a leaky head gasket.
Have your mechanic test your coolant (or go to the store and buy a coolant tester). If he/you finds exhaust gases in it, the head gasket would most likely be your problem.
