I'm trying to replace my battery on my truck. On the negative cable attached to the battery, the screw is worn out. Is there anyway I can get this screw off? Better yet, can I detach the ground end while it is still attached to the battery?

when replacing batteries you should ALWAYS disconnect the ground first so you don't spark and melt things an dhurt your self. To get the bolt off the battery take the cable off and then try to turn the cable and see if the bolt comes loose. If you have the post type battery then try to cut the bolt so you can get the cable off. The worse thing you'll have to do is buy another cable .
