I just replace the clutch for a friend on his '97 Ranger 4cyl 2WD. After the repair was complete, I took it for a test drive and noticed the Speedo was inop. I checked to make sure sensor was hooked back up; it was, and I checked to make sure I was getting resistance @ the sensor; I was. I tried unhooking battery for several minutes to flash PCM, but still have not gotten any response from the speedo. Any ideas?

Have you checked the wiring to make sure nothing is shorted? Also, make sure the connector isn't damaged.

Let me know what you find.
