When I start my truck the engine will go to about 1000 rpm then start to idle down like normal, but when it gets to 500 -600 rpm it wants to die and I have to give it some gas to keep it running. As it warms up it gets better. After I drive it there aren't any problems, and if I shut it down and restart warm it doesn't have a problem. I have changed the plugs and air filter recently.

There isn't a idle control module on this truck. I believe it to be one of three sensors 1- Throttle position sensor 2- Idle Air Control Valve or 3- Mass air flow sensor. Just don't know which to try. Don't want to buy everything.
