My ford ranger quits after 10 minutes of running. It runs rouph and dies. It also has a hard time to fire up. I replaced fuel filter and spark plugs. Check engine light is on. Is it electrical or machanical? Am I not getting fuel? Oh, also while it's running, all gauges are on but when it stalls it all goes dead. I have replaced battery-starter-alternater. All this year.
thanks

First, I would start by having the computer scanned. If the check engine light is on, there will be a trouble code stored in the system. Most parts stores will scan for free. Some will lend or rent a scanner if the truck isn't driveable. Also, based on you description, it sounds like a bad fuel pump. Here is a how to for checking fuel pump pressure.

You will need a fuel pressure gauge. Again, most parts stores will lend or rent them.

Let me know if you have other questions. Have a great new year and thanks for using 2carpros.com.
