I have a 96' Ford Probe GT (2.5L V6) with 205,000 km. Every 1 or 2 weeks when the car is cold it will not start. It will crank over just fine but just will not start. I had the distributor and the timing belt replaced. (I believe that there is no spark at the plugs) The weirdest thing is that if I shake a set of wires located on the passenger side of the car just above the engine (not the spark plug wires) and the car starts perfectly! And the car runs good. (See attached photo) The car has never stalled when it is running. The engine light is also on. Codes include crank position sensor, knock sensor, and exhaust recirculation sensor. When the computer is cleared it takes 3-4 days until the engine light comes on again. Not all codes come back right away. I believe the crank position sensor comes on first. Might be all the same problem. HELP!
