Engine rear main is leaking?

Rear main is leaking for the second time is there a special way to fix this seal

Hello,

The installation of the rear main seal on this vehicle is a standard rear main seal replacement procedure.
Keep in mind the direction the seal is installed will determine if it will leak or not. The lip of the seal must go toward the engine and over the crankshaft without any damage.
Be sure to use a carb cleaner to clean any residue from the seal housing.
Use a flat piece of mild steel and a hammer to gently tap the seal into place.
The seal will be completely installed when it is flush in the seal housing. Check the installation by running your finger around the seal feeling for evenness against the housing.

If the seal is not completely flush it could start a leak.
