1999 Other Ford Models removing rotor

Is there a special way to remove the rotor with the 4 x 4? I removed brake pads, but cant get rotor off.

You should be able to smack it with a hammer. It should just come off, unless it is rusted on. If you pick three spots on the rotor, in between the studs, alternate hitting the different spots and it should pop off. Just be careful not to hit the studs or you will damage them and they will have to be replaced. The hub and rotor do separate, it just takes a little effort.
