I have a 99 mustang coupe, 100,000 miles A regular engine, I was drivin home today and all a sudden it sounded like there was a motorcycle behind me.I realized it was m car. So I suppose the question is what is it like muffler or engine I can't tell. Is it safe to drive?

Sounds like it needs exhaust work, if nothing is hanging down, drive to an exhaust shop.
