The other day I went out to my car to start it and it would not start from the ignition. Someone came over and used a screw driver to start to spark the starter and it started right up, after a few times of doing that the car would not start anymore so I replaced the starter. Now the car will not start when the key in put in the ignition. I have a computer on my car from the finance company. Do you think when the starter was replaced the computer could of malfunctioned or do you think that it is something else? The Ford dealership wants $100 to even look at it so I would like to element any problems that I could fix before bringing it into them.

Thanks

Could be a blown fusible link, the starter, starter relay, /park and neutral switch/transmission range switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good. Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
